Construction accounting, complete
Built for construction, from the ground up.
A complete, construction-native accounting system built to rival every Sage product, Frontier, and QuickBooks — and replace any of them entirely, with no second system running alongside it.
The two reports that decide whether accounting software works for a contractor — the WIP schedule your surety wants, and the cost-to-complete your PMs want — each take one click. Not a spreadsheet and a weekend.
Self-serve — no sales call required.

The two reports
One click. Two modes. Zero spreadsheets.
Every bonded contractor knows the drill: the surety asks for a WIP schedule, and someone loses days assembling a spreadsheet that's stale before it's finished. The PM asks where the job stands, and the honest answer is “last month, roughly.”
Live WIPworking estimate
Any moment, mid-period, computed from every posted transaction — clearly labeled a working estimate. For decisions: the PM checking margin on a Tuesday, the controller watching a job drift before month-end, the owner scanning the portfolio.
Definitive WIPcertified artifact
At period close — after overhead allocation, labor burden, and WIP adjusting entries are finalized. Frozen, archived, reconciled to the general ledger on its face: underbillings tie to CIE, overbillings tie to BIE, to the penny. This is what goes to the surety, the bank, and the CPA — and it can never silently change.
“Live views for operating the business; certified artifacts for the people who audit it.”
Cost-to-complete, per cost code
Six columns per cost code — budget, committed, billed, actual, projected, variance — with a reconciliation footer proving the job cost subledger ties to the GL. Projected cost is a stated rule, not a guess buried in a formula.

One minute inside the product.
Trust & security
Accounting you can prove.
The credibility rests on engine-level guarantees, not UI polish:
Append-only ledger
Posted entries are immutable — no edit path, only reversals. Enforced by database triggers, not just application code: even a bug can't rewrite a posted entry.
Closed periods stay closed
The database itself refuses postings to a closed period outside a dual-control prior-period-adjustment workflow with a full restatement cascade.
Re-proven every night
An independent integrity auditor recomputes balances from raw journal lines and compares them to every materialized balance and subledger tie — on the production database, on a schedule.
Every number is a link
Any figure on a dashboard or report drills through to the postings behind it. The product never asks you to trust a number it can't show the ledger for.
No bank credentials, ever
Bank statements come in as uploaded CSV/OFX files. No screen-scraping, no stored bank logins, no aggregators — a deliberate, permanent security decision.
Architected for SOC 2 Type II
Column-level encryption for sensitive fields, ~200 capability keys gating every financial action, database-level tenant isolation, and an append-only audit log. The SOC 2 audit is on the roadmap.
AI in SCPM
AI that never invents a number.
The accounting engine computes every number. The AI explains, organizes, and accelerates — it never invents a figure, and it never posts to the books.
That's a hard architectural rule, not a marketing sentence. Ask a CPA's favorite question — “how do I know the AI didn't make that up?” — and the answer is architectural: it can't.
STAGE 1
Getting set up
AI proposes the mapping from your legacy chart of accounts and cost codes; a human reviews and confirms every line. Your QuickBooks file migrates with AI assistance in an afternoon — and it ties out, provably.
STAGE 2
Daily work
An analyst on every report: plain-English narratives on WIP, profit fade, cash flow, and agings — every figure in the text is one the engine computed for that screen. Ask questions in English; answers come only from engine datasets.
STAGE 3
The executive view
Every morning, a margin overwatch briefing over engine-computed figures: projects, backlog, margin through last close, cash position, who's overbilled and underbilled. Every sentence traces to a number; every number drills to the ledger.
Construction-specific depth
Built for the contractor's cycle.
Get paid
- AIA-style progress billing with the G702/G703 PDF package generated from the books
- Retainage receivable per job, with aging and a release workflow
- AR aging by project; receipts with unapplied-cash handling and NSF reversal
- Cash-in-transit modeled explicitly — receipts, unapplied cash, ACH in transit
Pay & comply
- Full AP with two-stage approval, check/ACH payments, discounts, voids
- COI tracking, W-9s, and lien waivers with payment holds that actually block payment
- Certified payroll: federal WH-347 with signed Statement of Compliance, from ADP/Paychex imports
- 1099 accumulation all year with year-end reporting and e-file support
Know your jobs
- Committed cost and PO reporting — budget vs. committed vs. invoiced vs. remaining
- Change-order accounting, approved and pending, prime and cost sides
- Profit fade report — the surety's favorite question, answered on screen
- Equipment costing: equipment cost hits jobs at the cost-code level, like labor does
Close the books
- Twelve-step guided period close with system-executed steps and rollback
- Overhead allocation with cap-and-spillover; labor burden by employee class
- Confidence-scored bank rec auto-matcher — a 200-line reconciliation is a minutes job
- A bonding-grade close package: statements, WIP, agings, tie-out report — one PDF
Payroll, both paths: keep ADP or Paychex — imports become burdened job cost and certified payroll automatically. Or run it yourself with self-service in-house payroll (in active build): SCPM calculates, posts, and produces stubs and filing worksheets; you deposit and file.
Groups & divisions
One company — or a group of them.
For contractors running several related companies — the segment where Viewpoint Vista, CMiC, and Sage 300 CRE quote six figures:
- Each company is a complete, standalone set of books — its own chart, close calendar, and audit trail. Individually closable, individually auditable.
- The group layer is derived and read-only: combined statements (never “consolidated” — that judgment belongs to your CPA under ASC 810) with a column per company, an eliminations column, and a total — presented the way a CPA builds them by hand.
- Intercompany flagged at the source, with proposed eliminations a person reviews and posts.
- An org chart as the control surface — ownership percentages, owned vs. managed, N-deep trees.
- A combined bonding package that refuses to render until every member company's period is closed.
- Divisions cover the single-company case — segmented P&L and WIP grouping without the group machinery.
SCPM Project · Launching July 2026
The whole company, one login — the books built in from day one.
SCPM Project is construction management built on the same SCPM Framework — and it ships with SCPM Construction Accounting fully built into its base. Not an integration, not a connected app, not a second purchase: the same financial engine sold on this site runs underneath SCPM Project from day one.

Win the work
- A unified CRM — one client and prospect database shared by Marketing, Design, and Estimating
- Full preconstruction pipeline: takeoffs, cost catalog, bid packages, ITBs, and side-by-side bid leveling
- One-click estimate-to-budget the moment a job is awarded
Run the job
- Interactive Gantt scheduling, look-ahead views, and daily logs from the field
- RFIs, submittals, punch lists, and safety observations tied to the project record
- A mobile field app with full offline mode — logs and photos sync when signal returns
Know the numbers
- SCPM Construction Accounting running underneath — budgets, bills, commitments, and pay apps on one cost-code spine
- The same job-cost workbook this site sells today, not a lighter or separate version
- Margin-erosion alerts before a project's numbers become a surprise
Stay disciplined
- The SCPM Health Score — one number, per project and company-wide, that reads operational discipline
- Guided prompts when a structural gap appears, routed to the person responsible
- An executive dashboard built to answer one question: what needs my attention right now?
No modules, no feature tiers, no upsell ladder. Every organization runs the full suite from day one — pricing scales with company size, never with which features you're allowed to use.

The story
An operating discipline, not just software.
Conquest Consultants is a consulting practice that fixes the structural problems eroding general-contractor margin. The SCPM Framework — Systematic Construction Project Management™ — came first, proved in the field on real projects.
The software followed. SCPM Construction Accounting, live now, is the financial backbone: one set of books, construction-native, provable. SCPM Project — the construction management platform built on the same framework — launches July 2026 with that same accounting engine built into its base, not sold or connected separately.
One login, one price, one source of truth from first lead to final lien waiver. You're not buying a database with a construction skin. You're installing an operating discipline.
Run your books on it for 60 days. Free.
Self-serve signup — a complete organization is provisioned for you with a construction-specific chart of accounts, CSI-based cost codes, and a demo company whose every number ties to a posting.
